New Patient Information
What to expect at your first visit and how to prepare, from scheduling through your initial evaluation.
Requesting your first appointment
New patients are welcome at Alliance Psychiatric Group. You can request an appointment by phone at (714) 769-6090 or through our online appointment request form. Our staff will follow up to confirm scheduling, insurance, and visit type.
What to bring
Having a few items ready helps your first visit go smoothly:
- A photo ID
- Your insurance card, if using insurance
- A list of current medications and doses
- Names of previous psychiatric providers, if any
- Any relevant medical records or prior evaluations you have access to
- A list of questions or concerns you want to discuss
Your first visit
Your initial appointment is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation — a structured, confidential conversation about what brings you in, your history, and your goals. Your provider will discuss their clinical impressions with you and work with you on a treatment plan.
Initial evaluations are typically longer than follow-up visits. Plan for extra time and arrive a few minutes early to complete any remaining paperwork.
